Scripture (His Revealed Word): Is a specific verse or biblical principle consistently lighting up for you, speaking directly to your situation?
Peace (The Inner Witness): Does a particular path bring a deep, unexplainable peace that "guards your heart and mind" (Philippians 4:7), or is there a check in your spirit?
Prayer & Impressions (The Spirit's Whisper): As you wait in prayer, what God-thoughts or gentle nudges is the Holy Spirit bringing to mind?
Wise Counsel (The Confirmation of Community): What are mature, Spirit-filled believers who know you and your journey sensing? (Proverbs 11:14).
Circumstances (Open and Closed Doors): How is God orchestrating your situation? Look for divine appointments and God-ordained opportunities.
Spiritual Discernment (Dreams & Visions): Is God speaking through a vivid dream, a mental picture, or a prophetic word that aligns with Scripture?
When these markers begin to point in the same direction, you can move forward with a confidence that isn't your own. It's a conviction anchored in the faithfulness of God.
A Crucial Note: If one of these markers is a clear "red light"—especially a lack of peace or a contradiction to Scripture—pause. God is not the author of confusion. His guidance brings a growing sense of clarity and unity, not anxiety and strife.
